I don't know if this recipe was also created by Bubba's aunt's great-grandmother's sister-in-law, but I'm sure that the day it was invented was celebrated in style because coconut prawns they are sucking their fingers! Of course, as long as you like coconut since it is known that the world is divided in two: who loves it and who hates it. We ammaooooos: it is coconudo ... fucking!
We go without further ado with our quick and easy recipe for coconut prawns
Ingredients
- Prawns
- Grated coconut
- Flour
- Salt
- Pepper
- Frying oil
Elaboration
1. In a bowl we make a tempura dough with salt, pepper, flour and a splash of water.
2. We peel the prawns and batter them in the tempura.
3. Once they are passed through the tempura we pass them through the grated coconut.
4. We fry them and sprinkle them with more coconut flour (the more the better! W the coconut !!!).
5. Serve with white rice or as an appetizer. (It can be accompanied with soy sauce, coconut chutney or simply with the sauce you like best!).
